The apartments impress with their bright, friendly design and, above all, with the unobstructed views to the east and west: in the morning, the sun greets you over the mountains, and in the evening, you can enjoy the warm colors of the sunset. This special play of light makes each day unique.
Krün is nestled between the Karwendel, Wetterstein, and Soiern mountain ranges. This traditional village combines Bavarian authenticity with serene elegance. Our holiday apartments are located in a central location in Krün, within walking distance of, among others:
- 900 meters to EDEKA
- 600 meters to Lidl and Aldi
- 350 meters to Kirchplatz – the center of Krün
- 400 meters to the ski and bike rental
- 600 meters to bakery and café
- Bus stop right across from the house
Arrival by car / train
You can park your vehicle directly at the accommodation. A parking space in our garage is available for your stay. There, you will also find a charging station for your electric car.
The key for the garage can be found in your apartment.
You can also conveniently arrive by train. The nearest station is Klais. From there, it is only a few kilometers by taxi or bus to the holiday apartment.
Local mobility
With your AlpenweltCard, all rides on the hiking and guest bus between Mittenwald - Klais - Elmau/Kranzbach - Krün - Wallgau are free of charge.
In summer, there is a hiking bus serving all important starting and ending points of the trails in the Alpenwelt Karwendel.
In winter, you can use the ski and guest bus. The stop is located in the village center, about 5 minutes from the accommodation.
In addition, with the AlpenweltCard, you can travel free of charge on RVO buses throughout the Oberland from the very first day of your stay. The bus stop is 50 meters from the accommodation.
Our house
Our house was built in April 2023 using timber frame construction by Keitel-Haus. We completed the entire interior, the garage, and the outdoor areas ourselves – with great effort from the whole family and friends.
The timber construction not only ensures a wonderfully comfortable living climate, but is also very environmentally friendly: wood stores CO₂ and gives the house a natural, cozy atmosphere.
In the construction, we placed great emphasis on energy efficiency: triple-glazed windows, high-quality facade insulation made from ecological materials, and an airtight building envelope to prevent heat loss. At the same time, the wall construction is breathable, which ensures a balanced indoor climate and good moisture regulation.
We also focus on sustainability in energy supply. Heating is provided by a modern pellet heating system, and our photovoltaic system on the roof generates the majority of the electricity.
This is complemented by a large cistern that collects rainwater. This way, we save drinking water for garden irrigation and make use of a natural resource that comes directly from the roof.

Will I receive a reservation confirmation?
After booking, you will receive a reservation confirmation by email, showing the amount of the deposit and the due date for the remaining balance. You will also receive the account details for payment with the reservation confirmation.
Will I receive a booking confirmation?
After the deposit has been received, you will receive the booking confirmation.
How can I complete an online check-in?
Use the booking manager you receive with the confirmation on your smartphone or PC. With it, you can complete your online check-in, learn more about local events, plan your arrival, and even chat with us directly if you have any questions about your stay.
Can I download the guest cards?
Shortly before arrival, you will receive your guest cards by email – it is best to save them to your smartphone wallet. This way, you will have your guest card handy throughout your stay and can enjoy a few pleasant and relaxing days with us!
Are there parking spaces?
The parking spaces are located in the garage.

From what time is check-in possible?
Check-in for the Krottenkopf apartment is possible from 3:00 PM, and for the Signalkopf apartment from 4:00 PM.
By what time must I check out?
We kindly ask you to leave the apartment by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
