Our holiday apartments are located in a central location in Krün, within walking distance of, among others:
- 900 meters to EDEKA
- 600 meters to Lidl and Aldi
- 350 meters to the church square – the center of Krün
- 400 meters to the ski and bike rental
- 600 meters to a bakery and café
- Bus stop opposite the property
Arrival by car / train
You can park your vehicle directly at the property. A parking space in our garage is available for your stay, which also features a charging station for your electric car.
The key for the garage can be found in your apartment.
You can also travel conveniently by train. The nearest station is Klais, from where it is only a few kilometers by taxi or bus to the holiday apartment.
Local mobility
With your AlpenweltCard, all rides on the hiking and guest bus between Mittenwald - Klais - Elmau/Kranzbach - Krün - Wallgau are free of charge.
In summer, there is a hiking bus covering all important starting and ending points of the trails in the Alpenwelt Karwendel.
In winter, you can use the ski and guest bus. The stop is located in the village center, about 5 minutes from the property.
Additionally, with the AlpenweltCard, you can travel free of charge on all RVO buses throughout the Oberland starting from your very first day of vacation. The bus stop is just 50 meters from the property.
Our house
Our house was built in April 2023 using timber frame construction by Keitel-Haus. We completed the entire interior, the garage, and the outdoor areas ourselves – with a lot of effort from the whole family and friends.
The timber construction not only ensures an extremely pleasant living climate but is also environmentally friendly: wood stores CO₂ and gives the house a natural, cozy atmosphere.
In the construction, we placed great importance on energy efficiency: triple-glazed windows, high-quality facade insulation made from ecological materials, and an airtight building envelope to prevent heat loss. At the same time, the wall structure is vapor-permeable, ensuring a balanced indoor climate and effective moisture regulation.
We also rely on sustainability for energy supply. Heating is provided by a modern pellet system, and our rooftop photovoltaic system supplies the majority of the electricity.
This is complemented by a large cistern that collects rainwater. This way, we save potable water for garden irrigation and make use of a natural resource that comes directly from the roof.

Can I make an inquiry / book through the website?

Will I receive a reservation confirmation?
After booking, you will receive a reservation confirmation by email, showing the amount of the deposit and the due date of the remaining balance. The account details for payment are also included in the reservation confirmation.
Will I receive a booking confirmation?
Once the deposit has been received, you will receive the booking confirmation.
How can I complete an online check-in?
Use the booking manager, which you receive with your confirmation, on your smartphone or PC. This allows you to complete your online check-in, learn more about local events, plan your arrival, and chat with us directly if you have any questions about your stay.
Can I download the guest cards?
Shortly before arrival, you will receive your guest cards by email – it is best to save them to the Wallet on your smartphone. This way, you will always have your guest card handy during your stay and can enjoy a few pleasant and relaxing days with us!
Are there parking spaces?
The parking spaces are located in the garage.
Can I store bicycles / sports equipment / strollers?
You can also store your bicycles, sports equipment, and strollers in the garage.
From what time can I check in?
Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM in the Krottenkopf apartment and from 4:00 PM in the Signalkopf apartment.
Until what time do I need to check out?
We kindly ask you to vacate the apartment by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
